Meet the Team

Founder
Rita Kwong
I am a registered physiotherapist, Royal Academy of Dance registered ballet teacher, BASI Pilates Teacher and Legacy Program Graduate, trained singing bowl practitioner, and Reiki Master, with a multidisciplinary background spanning clinical rehabilitation, movement education, and sensory-based wellness practices.
I hold a Master’s degree in Sports Medicine and Health Science from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and have worked across the National Health Service (NHS) and private musculoskeletal clinics in both the UK and Hong Kong. Through my clinical work, I have treated a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and supported athletes as a team physiotherapist for football and rugby clubs.
Alongside my clinical training, I am a Royal Academy of Dance registered ballet teacher and a BASI-certified Pilates instructor. These disciplines have shaped my understanding of movement beyond rehabilitation — focusing on control, awareness, and how the body functions as an integrated system. My interest in women’s health also informs my work, particularly in supporting pre- and post-natal clients through safe and effective movement.
Over time, I found that physical treatment alone was often not enough. This led me to explore somatic practices, sound therapy, and Reiki, allowing me to better understand how the nervous system influences recovery, stress, and overall wellbeing.
My approach today integrates both clinical reasoning and sensory-based practices. I focus not only on how the body moves, but also on how it responds — helping individuals restore balance, improve function, and reconnect with their bodies in a sustainable way.
At Ineffable Wellness, I develop integrated programs that bring together physiotherapy, movement, and nervous system regulation, supporting both individuals and organisations in achieving long-term health and performance.

Gigi Kwong
I am a physiotherapist with a focus on musculoskeletal health, movement science, and the integration of systemic digital approaches within modern wellness.
I was trained in the UK, where I developed my clinical foundation across musculoskeletal settings, including the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, UK's top orthopaedic hospitals. Alongside my clinical practice, I am trained in Pilates across both mat and studio equipment. This has shaped my approach to rehabilitation — not only addressing symptoms, but rebuilding strength, control, movement efficiency, mind-body connection in a way that translates into daily life.
My work centres on a whole-person approach, understanding how lifestyle, stress and movement interact — particularly in relation to longevity health, long-term musculoskeletal conditions and performance.
I have a strong interest in research and public health, particularly in how musculoskeletal conditions and physical inactivity impact populations at scale. I focus on translating evidence-based approaches into expanable, technology-supported models that integrate clinical reasoning, movement, and nervous system regulation, making high-quality care more accessible beyond traditional one-to-one settings.
At Ineffable Wellness, I focus on developing the structure and direction of our work — shaping how our approach translates into scalable programs, digital applications, and partnerships across corporate and hospitality settings.
